Manager Oliver Glasner says Crystal Palace will be fully focused on the task at hand, when the Eagles travel north of the river to face Tottenham on Sunday, 11th May (14:15 BST).
The match will be Palace's final league outing before the 2025 FA Cup Final, but the Austrian insisted at his pre-match press conference that he expects both sides to bring their best with Premier League points at stake.
Ahead of the all-London fixture, the Eagles manager also discussed Spurs' season so far, managing expectations ahead of Wembley and working towards Palace's record Premier League points total.
It's now about being best prepared and it's the next game, and we want to show the best performance that we can show.
It's more or less the same situation for both teams. First of all congratulations to Ange Postecoglou and Tottenham for reaching the Europa League final.
It's a huge achievement. We have this game and our final on [the following] Saturday. They have this game and one more in between, and their final on Wednesday.
I think he [Ange Postecoglou] expects the same from his players, that they now need every single training, every single game, to be in the best shape that they can be for the final, and this is the same approach that we have.
This is what the players show me every day in training, we don't talk about the [FA Cup] Final, it's really how we want to play at Tottenham, what we need to do to have a chance to win there, and this is the only thoughts around it. Then from Monday we start preparing for Manchester City.
I don't think so, no [when asked if Tottenham playing on Thursday gives Palace an advantage]. The semi-final against Aston Villa was our fifth game in two weeks and they had one more day to rest. It was no disadvantage for us.
All these players can deal with this situation, especially with having such a huge success. When you win and go to a final, you are full of confidence. So I think it doesn't influence the game on Sunday.
I always believe at the end of the season you get what you deserve. I think we deserve the final now because of our great performances in the FA Cup. I think we deserve the position in the league.
The position in the league is just average for Crystal Palace, in terms of 12th but yes, the amount of points is good. We now want to go for the highest amount of points in Crystal Palace history.
We were not really ready at the beginning of the season because of a few things that happened or influenced our pre-season. From then, I think we deserve the position. We deserve the 46 points. No one gave us one as a gift.
Tottenham deserve their Europa League final, it was their 16th game in Europe. They were one of the two best teams there. It's the same with us. Everybody is there where they deserve to be.
Huge respect for every single manager, for every single player [who reaches the Europa final]. Tottenham had many injuries, many games to play, and I think they had many storms to overcome. It's part of our job, but in the end I really have a huge appreciation for Ange and how he dealt with the situation.
I know it's not so easy, because you know what happens day by day at the training ground with your players when you miss 7, 8, 9, 10 starters in a season. You try to find the reason, but usually it's not just one reason, because then everybody would solve it, and there are many circumstances.
I don't know why it [Tottenham's injury problems] was, but now it looks like many of their players are fit again, but then I think [James] Maddison got injured and will be out for the rest of the season.
I think we spoke about it at the start of the season, when England went to the Euro 2024 Finals - it was a very short break for many international players. I think this is what the price many players have to pay, because they just don't have time for rest, they don't have time for recovery.
Fortunately for us and for the teams who don't play in the Club World Cup, there is now a summer where many players get their well-deserved rest, their recovery time, their vacation, their holidays, and hopefully this is a very positive influence and means we have less injuries next season.
It's not so difficult here, ahead of the cup final. At our training ground we work day by day. We talk on the pitch, we have our meetings and we prepare for the next game. It's just business as usual.
Of course, there is a little bit more to do with the media, with interviews for the players, for myself. You can view this as a stress, but I think it's the best we can have.
We want to play the final. We want to have this positive stress. There is a lot of positive energy we can get from it.
This is what we can show at Tottenham. Again, the better our performance is at Tottenham, the better our confidence will be for the final. It's always the performance that influences the next game a little bit.
Not just the result, because we are not really delighted with our result against Nottingham Forest, but simply the performance. Especially the last 20-25 minutes, there was a lot of pressure creating many chances. The performance gave us confidence for the Tottenham game.
This performance will influence the confidence and the belief for the final.
